June 2017
June’s been an enjoyable month so far, with a couple of performances in my back pocket. I’ve been exploring unfamiliar styles of music & have fallen in love with the Norwegian repertoire. Always enjoying a challenge, I decided to present some of these songs at my concerts. My renditions were well received & it has inspired me to learn more about Norwegian music & the different dialects scattered across the country. Learning tunes in a foreign language has always been an interest of mine since I first exposed myself to the different musical cultures found on other continents. There is something about performing that truly rejuvenates! And I feel even more excitement when I perform my original material. So, as my album makes its way through cyberspace from the UK to the USA for mastering, I’m currently preparing for the CD launch. As the production of the album has come to an end, a new chapter of music making unfolds.

I’ve decided to celebrate Spring 2017 with a brand new website! Slowly but surely, I am beginning to implement changes all round, and things are starting to take shape. My latest music has birthed a new image, and bit by bit I’ll be making updates across my social media networks. My music has been kept secret for so long, but now you'll be able to visit the music page and listen to some samples from my debut album. I kicked off this week with an experimental photoshoot on Monday, as part of exploring ideas for my debut album cover. To my surprise, things turned out better than expected, with a lovely batch of usable material to choose from! I'm very excited to eventually share the finished product with you. Finally, I have managed to marry my new sound with visual images that truly represent me as an artist. I hope to awaken a sense of enjoyment within those who have been wondering what I have been working on so secretively behind closed doors over the past year.
